I gave this machine to my daughter who is an extremely picky person. She just raves about her popper

Junk, pure and simple. Flawed design. Waste of money even if it only cost $5 instead of $100.

I am shocked to hear the bad reveiws for this machine. It works great! I run batch after batch on football Sundays and have not had a problem all year. It’s quick and easy to make popcorn and easy to clean, I just wipe out the kettle with a paper towel after each use and I’m good to go. My only complaint would be that it doesn’t have a heating element under the floor of the unit to keep the popcorn warm. But that is minor. I would recommend this unit to anybody who likes popcorn.

I don’t own this machine; I’m only writing to thank all the reviewers who have bought one. Your opinions (not one was truly positive) have kept me from making a bad purchase.

I saw this popcorn maker in the SkyMall magazine you get on an airline flight, and immediately fell in love with the design. I decided to check reviews, because I was ready to buy one. I noted that the dimensions would allow it to fit perfectly on my kitchen counter, and I’d already made a space for it.

I really wanted this machine … I love Retro styles like this. But I read all the reviews here, and with each one, I got sadder and sadder, because like everyone else here, I love popcorn, but had to conclude that it would be a waste to buy it just for looks. Apparently that’s all it’s good for. (And maybe not even that, because one reviewer commented that it’s impossible to keep the plexiglass pristine clean after using it.)

So, no adorable Retro Popcorn Maker for me. But thanks, everyone, for sparing me the aggravation and disappointment of owning one.

The product is great but came with a broken part. I have tried to contact the company but they have not responded. I don’t won’t to return just get a replacement for the broken part.
